On May 18, Juzhong Ge,the deputy inspector of Beijing municipal commission of education,Shanting Li, the director of technology and postgraduate work office ,  Li xiao ,the deputy director,and Haozhai ,the director, came to  the construction of Beijing advanced innovation center of materials genome engineering. Wu Guilong、AIxiang Wu the president of USTB, and academician Jian-xin Xie、Xinping Mao, and Prof.NingLi the university of information science and technology, the school of accounting, school-run,  academy, international and advanced center is mainly responsible for comrades to participate in the survey. Wu aixiang presided over the meeting.

Guilong Wu on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome to the leaders of the municipal education commission. He pointed out that the center is a strategic platform for talent training, scientific research innovation and discipline construction. The rapid development of the center not only strongly drives the high quality development of materials and related disciplines, but also effectively promotes the development of related interdisciplinary disciplines. On behalf of the school, he would like to express his heartfelt thanks to the municipal education commission for its long-term care and support for the school's "double top" construction.

Jianxin Xie reported in detail the progress of the construction of the center in the past two and a half years. He said that the center is positioned to serve the country and Beijing's innovation-driven development strategy, and has achieved some high-level and substantive results by facing the frontiers of disciplines. Under the guidance and support of the municipal education commission, all the researchers will continue to defy difficulties and meet challenges, and give a satisfactory answer to the city of Beijing, the material discipline, and the brother units that care about and support the construction of the advanced center.

Based on his own experience, Xinping Mao introduced the important role of the center in the cultivation and gathering of talents, the development of the service industry, and the construction of Beijing science and innovation center. According to  Shanting L i, the center has distinctive features and highlights in talent gathering, scientific research innovation and operation management, and won unanimous praise from evaluation experts when it participated in the mid-term evaluation one year ahead of schedule in 2019, which fully reflects the importance of USTB and the spirit of hard work of its staff.

Juzhong Ge gave affirmation to the construction progress of MGE center. He pointed out that the construction of municipal education commission high-tech center's purpose is to "build platform, gather talent, tasks, the achievement", the city board of education will face with advanced center and solve the problems of the construction and development under the new situation, hope to give full play to the advantage of high-tech center, planning for the long-term development, service for Beijing scientific innovation center development and economic construction.

Guilong Wu said that the school will not forget the original intention, carefully comb, find the problem, find the gap, undertake the mission, the courage to take responsibility, and promote the construction of the center to higher and better development.
