Materials genome engineering is a frontier technology in the materials field. The basic idea is to integrate high-throughput computation, high-throughput experiments, and materials big data technology to accelerate the intelligent materials design, development, and manufacturing through collaborative innovation. The development of materials genome engineering will bring fundamental changes to materials research mode and unprecedented opportunities for the development of the materials field. On October 27, 2021, the Center published the first digital book series on materials genome engineering in collaboration with Metallurgical Industry Press of China. The book series, authored by Prof. Jianxin Xie and twelve other reputable scholars in this field, cover a range of key topics of materials genome engineering, including High-throughput Computing Theory and Methods for Materials, High-throughput Evaluation and Simulation of Materials Service Behavior, Materials Big Data Technology, High-throughput Preparation and Characterization of Materials, Computational Materials Science, and Intelligent Design and Manufacturing of Materials.
